When Shame Switches to Pride,
Healing Begins.

We all carry shame within us. The fear of not being enough.

The fear of being too loud. Too different. Too much.

For many people, fetish grows into something more than expression. A place of self-discovery. Of community. Of visibility. Of pride.

Fetisch heilt — 'fetish heals' — tells my story.

My Story

How I found
my way.

Victor Görgey, Bavarian Mister Fetish 2026, wearing sash

For years I have been volunteering in Munich's gay and queer scene, especially at Sub, and at S'AG — a prevention group that means a great deal to me.

I am a survivor of abuse and violence. This shaped me deeply, and for a long time led me to associate everything connected to typical masculinity with rejection and fear.

Through my community work, I eventually found my way to the Münchner Löwen Club, and discovered something unexpected: a space where strength means trust, not dominance. A place where I didn't have to hide my pain, but could transform it.

Here I was allowed to be who I am. I discovered my fetish: not as a secret to be kept, but as a part of me I can be proud of.

When the title was renamed from Bavarian Mister Leather to Bavarian Mister Fetish in 2024, I put myself forward as a candidate at the end of 2025. At the end of March 2026 I won the election. Since then I have worn the title and the sash, and with them the responsibility to be visible and to inspire others.

What drives me

Three thoughts.

A promise.

Fetisch heilt is more than a slogan to me. It stands for the idea that fetish is not about shame — but about self-determination, expression, and belonging.

For many people, the community is a place where they no longer have to hide, but can finally be seen.

A safe space.

Visibility is not a luxury — it is a safe space. Sometimes even a healing space.

It heals when we stop twisting ourselves to fit. It heals when we experience real solidarity. When shame becomes pride. When invisibility becomes community.

An invitation.

As Bavarian Mister Fetish I want to encourage people to be visible: to stop making themselves smaller and to stand up for one another.

Fetish heals when we give it space. And we all deserve a little healing.

Schedule

On the road for
visibility.

With this title I want to create visibility for conversations about queer identity, self-acceptance, and community. This journey is not just a schedule for me, but a personal starting point for something greater.

Healing begins
where shame ends.

Fetisch heilt is an invitation to become visible.

Not perfect. Not conforming. But honest.

Because sometimes healing begins exactly where we stop hiding.

Be visible. Be you. Be proud.
